Tree pruning
We will discuss your individual requirements and can provide advice as to how best to prune your trees to promote their healthy development and to maintain them within the confines of their available space. We can offer a range of options depending on species and location and will help you to make an educated choice as to how best to proceed.
Tree dismantling & felling
We can expertly undertake the removal of problem trees where required. All work is carried out in a safe, controlled and efficient manner; in accordance with BS3998: Recommendations for Tree Work 2010.
Stump grinding
We are equipped with a state of the art stump grinder, enabling us to efficiently complete the removal of tree stumps. This allows for immediate landscaping works, or for the planting of replacement trees and shrubs. Built by FSI of Denmark, the stump grinder is powerful enough to tackle any tree stump, whilst being designed to be narrow enough to access rear gardens through a standard 800mm gateway.
Hedge cutting
We undertake the regular maintenance of hedges and shrubs of all shapes and sizes. Our team can quickly deal with even the largest of hedge cutting tasks and can advise on a programme of ongoing maintenance to keep your hedges looking smart all year round.
Tree planting
We keenly encourage the planting of trees where possible and can supply trees, shrubs and hedges to order. We use local suppliers wherever possible and have good contacts in the nursery trade.
Planning applications
Where trees are covered by Tree Preservation Orders, or are located within conservation areas, we can undertake the process of obtaining planning permission for the work you require. We have a strong working relationship with the tree officers in our local areas and can advise on the sorts of work they will be most likely to approve. We don’t waste your time by applying for work that will not be considered acceptable.
